Spicy Chicken Sausage Muffins

Now that we are done with the sweet and irresistible Very Berry Cake I thought something spicy should be the next order.

Here I have used spicy chicken sausages. The other plain version can also be used.

Ingredients:

Maida                          1 cup
Oil                                1/2 cup
Eggs                           2 nos.
Milk                             1/2 cup
Chicken sausages    4 to 5
Yeast                           2 tsp
Baking Powder         1 1/2 tsp
Namakshamak         1/2 tsp
Italian mixed herbs    2 tsp
Chilli Flakes               2 tsp

Method:

Dissolve the yeast in a little warm. You can also add a little sugar to activate it a little faster. Leave it in a warm place for 10 mins.

Sieve the maida with the baking powder. Beat the eggs and the milk. Add Oil and beat again. Blend in the Maida slowly and add the yeast, herbs and the chilli flakes. Let it stand for 20 mins.

Cut the sausages in small pieces and mix them in the batter.

Now grease the muffin molds and spoon in the batter. Don't fill the molds till the top, leave some space as the muffins will rise.

Preheat the over at 300 degrees. Bake the muffins at 180 degrees for 30 mins.

Serve if with dollops of tomato ketchup and Sweet Chill Sauce dip.
